Salesforce Park, San Francisco Proposal

There’s something so magical about proposals that reflect a couple’s unique love story, and J + R’s engagement at Salesforce Park was no exception. These two have been inseparable since they started dating shortly after high school, having grown up together in Michigan. Their journey has since brought them to the Bay Area, where they’ve fallen in love with their new home—and with each other even more.

J’s planning was nothing short of remarkable. He created a detailed slideshow to share with me and their family and friends, mapping out the proposal location (and a backup spot!) and coordinating the perfect hiding spots for loved ones. On the day of the proposal, everything unfolded flawlessly. As J dropped to one knee, R’s surprise and joy lit up the foggy summer day—she even jumped up and down with excitement before saying “yes!” One of my favorite proposal reactions to date.

After capturing some beautiful couple portraits, we “accidentally” led R to a group of their family and friends waiting with biodegradable confetti cannons. The celebration was heartfelt and joyful, filled with hugs, cheers, champagne toasts, adorable engagement signs, and even a cake to mark the occasion. Despite the soft fog rolling over Salesforce Park, the light was dreamy, casting a romantic glow over the entire scene.

This proposal was a testament to J + R’s love and the people who surround and support them. It was such an honor to photograph this beautiful moment in their lives and to witness the love and happiness that radiated from them and their loved ones.
